Ingredients
- 1 1/2 2 lbs Green Beans (fresh and organic)
- 1/2 Leek bulb, diced (optional)
- 1 T Coriander Powder
- 1 t Cumin Powder
- 1/2 t Turmeric Powder
- 3 T Ghee (or olive oil)
- Black Pepper (to taste)
- Sea Salt (to taste)

Instructions
- Prep green beans by removing the ends and strings. Keep long or cut in half once.
- In a large non-stick skillet, heat oil or ghee.
- Add powdered spices, roast in oil until fragrant and browned.
- Add leek and saute in spices until becomes aromatic.
- Add green beans and stir into spices until thoroughly coated.
Turn heat to high, add small amounts of water to keep beans from burning. Cover and cook on med-high heat, stirring and adding small amounts of water every 2-3 minutes for about 15 minutes. - When beans are tender, add any additional ingredients (like coconut or almonds).
- Taste for salt and pepper, add if necessary. Enjoy!
