Your India Retreat:

Dates: November 30 – December 20, 2019

Venue: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Cost: See below

New Leaf Ayurveda invites you to an Ayurvedic Retreat in South India, to experience Ayurveda in its home, with the people and culture of India surrounding you. We have chosen the month of December because the weather will be at its coolest, and because it lines up with the academic calendar vacation times. In the interest of real experience and growth, we will be in 3.5 star accommodations.

The Venue:

Your Private Residence at Sri Santhi Resort Community awaits!

This Vastu home is well-maintained and spacious, with many gardens and both private and community resting areas. Surrounded by fields, temples and rural Indian life, we will have an ideal setting for full-scope Ayurveda and a perspective-changing experience!  Single, double and family accommodations are available.

Message From Your In-India Ayurvedic Doctor:

“Ayurveda is considered to be the oldest system of medicine on Earth – we believe that Ayurveda was formulated by divine beings called Ashwini Devatas, and by Lord Dhanvantari himself, who is the doctor of the Gods. My lineage of Ayurveda, known as the Chintaluru Pharmacy, runs back some 350 years, and has provided the highest quality Herbal/Mineral formulas known across India for their quality and curative efficacy. I have continued this tradition and have received my Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine (BAMS) degree as well.

In my practice I have given relief to sufferers of cancer, infertility, neurological diseases and many other chronic and intractable diseases. My passion is to demonstrate the efficacy of Ayurvedic medicine and I look forward to helping even the hardest cases.

My collaboration with Nicole Wilkerson and New Leaf Ayurveda has proven not only effective for the physical health, but is effective at the level of happiness and inner joy also. Our Retreat offerings includes medicines from Chintaluru Pharmacy and other high quality Ayurvedic medicines, along with strategic and rejuvenating Body Therapies and a microbiological agni healing diet

New Leaf Ayurveda is following authentic Ayurveda and has demonstrated integrity and sincerity in the field of Ayurvedic Medicine. The New Leaf Ayurveda-India collaboration has produced remarkable results for our participants, and I highly recommend that you and those you love join our December 2019 Retreat. My family and I wholeheartedly invite you to enjoy the fruits of my lineage in Bharata, the Mother Land. ”

Organic Ayurvedic Kitchen:

Mother Earth Organics Farm

MEO provides our daily prescriptive diets and South Indian Ayurvedic cooking from age-old recipes. Madhavi Mam is the ‘mother’ of the kitchen and will take excellent care of you! Our daily menu includes the
micro-biological  foods of South India with all local organic ingredients. This food has been hugely successful as a gut healing diet and supports the use of stronger herbal medicines for excellent results.  Mother Earth Organics family is a big part of our Retreat, as we tour their farm, experience a family meal there, and enjoy all their family members’ wisdom on ‘Household’ Ayurveda.

Cultural Immersion:

Our model of Cultural Immersion is made possible with the help of local College students and young people. Navigating the complex web of Indian culture with ease and understanding, interpreting and helping with all aspects of our Retreat, they help make our time in India authentic and safe. While we enjoy India, they are also bolstered by our interest in their culture and traditional way of life. This one aspect of our Retreat sets it apart from other Retreats across India!

Giving Back to India is Essential!

Opportunities abound for us to give back to India and support Ayurvedic Healthcare, Heritage Farming, and the healthy ecological living practices of village life. When we visit these communities, we supply a powerfully positive and supportive reflection of the intelligence of Vedic life. In addition, we bring resources to these communities and support local Ayurveda, helping to heal the devastating impact the First World has had on their lives. We can and will make a difference while we’re there!

“I see my life now as before India and after India. I learned so much about myself, and made changes that I had not been able to make before. India is where your healing begins and your suffering ends.”
